The map below shows the current median plantings of The Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney.  They are represented by the yellow street lines.

To describe, the main plantings on the Trails are along Eldorado Parkway from Highway 5 in east McKinney westward 8-9 miles to Stonebridge Drive. Many crape myrtles are featured on Virginia Parkway west of US 75, also on US 380 just west of US 75.  In 2007 plantings were made on Hardin Drive between Eldorado Parkway and Virginia Parkway, also on McKinney Ranch Road and on Ridge Road between Eldorado Parkway and McKinney Ranch Road.

Additionally, many local businesses have planted crape myrtles in public spaces around the city. Watch here for details in upcoming weeks.
